To the people's governments of all districts and counties of Beijing Municipality and the relevant commissions, offices and bureaus of the government of Beijing Municipality:

According to relevant provisions of the Notice of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality on Printing and Distributing the "Measures of Beijing Municipality for the Administration of Low-Rent Housing in Urban Areas" (Jing Zheng Fa [2007] No. 26), the household income criteria for access to low-rent housing are adjusted upon approval of the government of Beijing Municipality in order to facilitate the solution of the housing difficulties of low-income urban families of Beijing Municipality, and to further improve the low-rent housing guarantee system. We hereby issue this Notice with respect to relevant matters as follows:

    各区县人民政府,市政府有关委、办、局:

    根据《北京市人民政府关于印发<北京市城市廉租住房管理办法>的通知》(京政发〔2007〕26号)的有关规定,为加快解决本市城市低收入家庭住房困难,进一步健全廉租住房保障制度,经市政府批准,对廉租住房家庭收入准入标准进行调整。现将有关事项通知如下:

1. With respect to low-rent housing applicants who are residents in the six districts of Beijing Municipality, the household income criterion for access is adjusted from the original monthly household income per capita, i.e., less than RMB 697 (excluding RMB 697) to the current one, i.e., not more than RMB 960 (including RMB 960), and the low-rent housing access criteria with respect to household usable floor area per capita and net value of total household assets are not adjusted for the time being.

       一、城六区居民申请廉租住房家庭收入准入标准从原规定的家庭人均月收入低于697元(不含697元)调整为家庭人均月收入低于960元(含960元),廉租住房家庭人均住房使用面积、家庭总资产净值准入标准暂不调整。

2. The government of each district or county in the outer suburbs of Beijing Municipality shall, prior to August 31, adjust the household income criterion for access to low-rent housing of its own district or county according to the actual situation, and the adjusted criterion shall be implemented after being reported according to the procedures to, and approved by, the government of Beijing Municipality. Such an adjusted criterion shall not be lower than the 2010 recognition criterion for low-income urban families of Beijing Municipality, i.e., monthly household income per capita, RMB 731.

       二、各远郊区县政府结合实际,应于8月31日前调整本区县廉租住房家庭收入准入标准,并按程序上报市政府批准后执行。各远郊区县政府调整后的廉租住房家庭收入准入标准原则上不低于2010年本市城市低收入家庭认定标准,即家庭人均月收入731元。

3. This Notice shall become effective on August 1, 2010.
