interest在合同翻译中通常有以下两层含义出现：(1)利息，如principal and interest本金和利息；(2)权益，常与right连用。

1利息

For the avoidance of doubt, in the event that no substitute basis is agreed at the end of the thirty (30) day period (or such other longer period as the Facility Agent and the Borrower may agree), the rate of interest shall continue to be determined in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

为免生疑问，若在三十（30）天的期限（或贷款代理行和借款人约定的更长期限）结束时未商定替代基准，则利率应继续按照本协议的条款予以确定。

2权益

The General Partner shall cause the Fund to pay all taxes payable by the Fund from its assets provided that such taxes need not be paid if the General Partner is in good faith contesting the validity, applicability or amount thereof and such contest does not adversely affect any rights and interests of the Fund, and provided further that, except as otherwise provided in this clause, the Fund shall not be responsible for taxes imposed directly or indirectly on a Partner who shall be responsible for their payment.

普通合伙人应安排基金从基金资产中支付所有基金应付税金，前提是，若普通合伙人善意抗辩税金的有效性、适用性或金额且该等抗辩对基金的任何权益不产生不良影响的，该等税金无需支付，另外，除非本条款另有规定，基金无需承担向合伙人直接或间接征收的税金，该合伙人应自行支付前述税金。
