On the whole, Jiang's translation is closer to the original poem in form and style, simple but slightly stiff；Pu's translation is smooth and catchy, with more poetic charm, but it is far from the original simplicity. Both of them have their own characteristics in detail translation, for example, "the sea" was directly translated by Jiang as "海", which showed its simple characteristics. Pu translated as "一片汪洋", which was slightly longer but more poetic. Jiang's translation is as close as possible to the original poem and uses simple words to express the connotation of the poem; Pu pays attention to restatement in the process of translation and often adds his own understanding or interpretation into the translation. For instance, the translation“夜夜狂风雨骤” of Pu is more than two words of Jiang’s version, which emphasizes the poet to the love regardless of personal danger and does not turn back. “ Our luxury” is translated by Jiang as“豪奢的喜悦”， which makes people feel difficult to understand while “我们的温柔富贵之乡”that translated by Pu is more acceptable to readers.
