Community property，或“community of property”，“communal estate”，指的是“夫妻共同财产”。在美国，指夫妻双方共同拥有的财产。该制度实行于路易斯安那、得克萨斯、新墨西哥、亚利桑那、加利福尼亚、华盛顿、爱达荷、内华达和威斯康星9个州。但在夫妻共有财产制下，配偶一方收益的一半由对方拥有。

在我国，夫妻共同财产是指在婚姻关系存续期间所得的由《中华人民共和国民法典》规定的财产为夫妻的共同财产，归夫妻共同所有，夫妻对共同财产，有平等的处理权。
