Disposition一词在法律英语中，有以下几种含义：

l Power of disposition

处分权。指权利人终身享有的、可为自己利益而处分全部财产的绝对权力。

l Disposition hearing

处置听审。指对经过裁决性听审〔adjudicatory hearing〕已被认定为犯罪青少年〔juvenile delinquent〕或轻微违法青少年〔status offender〕者，为确定最适当的关押或矫治形式而进行的听审。

l Disposition without trial

不经审判的处理。指对作出有罪答辩或承认足以认定其有罪的事实的被告人，没有经过实体上的审理即作出科刑判决或其他处理。

l Final disposition

(对标的物的)最终处分；终局处分。指在法院判决、裁定或决定作出后，不再对当事人的权利和义务进一步确定，并且不再有引起诉讼的进一步的争议，从而达到对标的物的终局性决定。
