供应商长名单 long list  短名单 short list

供应商长名单是相对于供应商短名单而言的。

在招标准备阶段，供应商长名单一般是通过可靠的信息渠道，获得潜在投标人的相关信息资料后确定的，数量较短名单大，范围也较广。

而对应的供应商短名单，则是在确定的供应商长名单中经过资格预审、评审，打分而得到的。

供应商长名单通常可能达到十几或几十个厂家，而短名单一般为三到五家。

简单来说就是针对于长名单来说的，长名单是指参加投标的所有名单，而短名单，则是经过筛选，列出的认为可以选择的一部分名单，就是说排除不能用的，剩下的那部分名单。
