Behove，是动词 behoove的变体, 常适用于正式文体，指 某人做某事是其职责所在（或义不容辞的责任）。behove的常见用法如下：

1. it 做主语，it behoves sb. to do sth.

例如：

It behoves the Government to assume leadership by taking up at least part of the financial responsibility for the community-wide retirement system. 

政府应该负起领导的责任，在全港推行的退休保障制度中至少承担部份的财政责任。

2. behove引导that从句

例如：

例如：
