In the event of any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

除了prevail外，在这种语境里好有几个词都可以表达同样的意思，总共有以下四种表达：

take precedence

这个最常见，就不赘述了。

2）control

美国肯特州立大学（Kent State University）的Independent Cotractor Terms of Agreement（独立建筑承包商协议条款）：

Authoritative Version. The English version of this Agreement shall be the authoritative version of the Agreement for all purposes. In the event of a conflict between the English version and any translation of this Agreement, the English version shall control.

3）govern

谷歌公司Season of Docs 2020 Technical Writer Participant Agreement里这么表达：

7.12 Translations. In the event of any discrepancy between the English version of this Agreement and a translated version, the English version will govern.

4）take precedence

美国弗吉尼亚州费尔法克斯县官网：

If there is any discrepancy between an English version of a document and a translated version, then the English version will take precedence.

美国证交会官网思科公司的Stock Option Assumption Agreement中：
